[ET Net News Agency, 21 March 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$339.09
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$53.09 billion, or 15.66% of the market's
turnover. There were 697 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.57 billion and HK$4.43
billion, or 10.49% and 8.35% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 27.91% and 68.1% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and BYD COMPANY (01211) registered HK$2.44 billion and HK$2.43 billion
of short sales, accounting for 4.59% and 4.58% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 16.49% and 22.82% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.54, or 2.2%, to HK$24. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.205,
or 3.59%, to HK$5.51. HSCEI ETF fell HK$2.56, or 2.78% to HK$89.46. BYD COMPANY declined
by HK$32.6, or 7.69%, to HK$391.6.
