[ET Net News Agency, 15 November 2024] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$155.49 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$26.57 billion, or 17.09% of the
market's turnover. There were 681 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.51 billion and HK$1.27
billion, or 13.22% and 4.77% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 58.8% and 10.84% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.19 billion and HK$1.13
billion of short sales, accounting for 4.46% and 4.27% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 11.14% and 25.12% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.008, or 0.19%, to HK$4.242. TENCENT ended down HK$2.4, or
0.59%, to HK$401. TRACKER FUND 0flat to HK$19.55. MEITUAN-W jumped HK$0.3, or 0.18%, to
HK$169.6.
